Sirilert Group executive director Yuthaluk Siripornleart advises smaller developers to find gaps in the market to cater to. Medium-sized contractor Sirilert Group is expanding its property development segment with a plan to invest 2.5 billion baht to build two residential projects in Bangkok, a hotel in Samui and a cultural park in Ratchaburi next year. Mr Yuthaluk, a former investment banker at Kasikorn Bank, said the group will invest 600 million baht a year to develop two residential projects in Bangkok. The fully-furnished units will be 26-50 square metres and priced from 2.55 million baht or 105,000 baht per sq m on average. The group has four businesses including property development under Sirilert Development Co, construction under Sirilert Corporation Co, electrical business Sparkling Light Co and design firm Space Relation Design Co.Last year the group recorded about 500 million baht in revenue.
